Following a three year fight against brain cancer, Andrew "Andy" T. Casey was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on June 11, 2021.

Andy was born February 9, 1972, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the son of Marvin I. Casey and Linda Haley Casey.

Throughout his life Andy was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need.

Survivors include his beloved wife Dawn (Eads) Casey of Columbus, IN; his mother Linda H. Casey of Sellersburg IN; brother Chris M. Casey of New Pekin, IN, his nephew Hunter Casey of Charlestown, IN and his beloved nieces Catie Casey and Holly Casey of New Pekin, IN, and his adopted nephew Jake Corya.

He was preceded in death by his father Marvin I. Casey and sister Angela Marlynn Casey.

Andy was a graduate of Rose Hulman Institute of Technology where he majored in Mechanical Engineering and was a member of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. He loved his time at Rose and also talked fondly of the time he spent with his Delta Sig brothers.

Upon graduating from Rose he began working at INTAT Precision in Rushville Indiana and then moved to become a Facilities Engineer at Toyota Industrial Equipment, Mfg. where he spent 18 years using his engineering degree to oversee the planning and completion of the many building expansions to the facility. Each of these projects were managed by one of his detailed schedules and punch list that he was very proud to use and pass on this ability to those he mentored. One of these accomplishments was overseeing the planning and construction of a new manufacturing facility in Artur Nogueira, Brazil. During this project he met many wonderful people who he has continued friendships. Andy finished his working career as the Senior Engineering Manager at North Vernon Industries Corporation where he was able to work closely with his mentor who had hired him at Toyota and helped to hone his attention to detail and ability to successfully oversee all of the projects he led.
Outside of work Andy was an avid boater and considered himself an Admiral of his two boat fleet. Time spent at Patoka Lake fishing with his brother, wife, and friends were some of his favorite times.
Andy was a lifelong member of Bethany Christian Church and a lifelong follower of Christ our Lord and Saviour.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Union Cemetery in Charlestown.
