Harrison Gordon (Harry) Tuell was born 24 Nov 1886 in Clarksburg, Indiana to Beruca Jefferson & Josephine (MAY) Tuell. He was the youngest of 10 children. He married Harriet Helen Coleman on the 21st of May 1912 in Riverside, California. He loved to hunt game, play cards and for the most part loved the outdoors. He was an excellant marksman, even after he had lost his sight in one eye. His Brother, Jesse and he, shot against Annie Oakley when the Wild West show was in town, he said she was the best shot he had ever seen. He was always a jokster. He told me when he first came to California, he had a quarter in his pocket and nothing more. He dropped out of school when he was old enough to hit the teacher back. He worked three jobs when he got to California, all at the canneries. On his nightwatchmen job, he slept. He eventually owned a general store in Riverside, and some orange groves. He was fairly well to do in his old age.
He married Florence Boronda on the 17th March in 1966. He was absolutely lost without Hattie. Harry departed this life on the 28th of August 1979 in Riverside, California.
