MARION - Mrs. Donna Hardy Lane, 62, wife of Scott Lane, went to be with her Lord early on Sunday morning, July 11, 2021, after an extended illness at McLeod Hospice House of Florence. Mrs. Lane was born July 7, 1959, in Easley, South Carolina, a daughter to the late Raymond and Doris Childress Hardy.

Donna had worked in textiles over the years, and Supreme Lighting Company, she had also worked with Eddie's TYT Transport Service more recently. Donna's main love in life was keeping and tending to her grandchildren, she loved her husband, children, and extended family, but her grandbabies were her eyeballs. Mrs. Lane was a member of West Marion Baptist Church.

Surviving Mrs. Lane in addition to her husband of 31 years and of the home, Scott Lane, are three children, Lisa (Brandon) Ray of Marion, Johnny Clark of Easley and April (James) Flanagan of Easley; four sisters, Cindy, Sandra, Patty, and Grace Ann; 6 grandchildren; and 1 great grandson.

In addition to her parents, Raymond and Doris Childress Hardy, Donna was predeceased by a sister, Ann Barrett.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday morning, July 14 at 11:00 a.m. in Lane Cemetery in Temperance Hill, with Rev. Joseph Day officiating and Cox-Collins Funeral Home directing the service.
