Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great Grandmother age 91, passed away on Saturday morning July10, 2021 in Beaver, Utah. Marge was born on 17 June 1930 in Minersville, Utah where she had lived her entire life, born to Alta Eyre and John Robert Bonner. She is the youngest of 10 children. Her mother remarried and had one more child.
She married W. Leon Thompson on June 9, 1947 at the age of 16. Sealed together on 25 Feb 2010 Manti Utah. They had 4 children Roberta Ann Thompson, Kathy Rae Atkin, Mark L Thompson, and Rebecca Baxter and raised her grandson Mark Leon (Joe) Thompson.
Survived by Two daughters Kathy Atkin (Steve) And Becky Baxter (Brent), two sisters Emma Davis and Kenny Kent
She is proceeded in death by her husband W Leon Thompson, daughter Ann and son Mark, Granddaughter Heather Yardley, Brothers and sisters: John, Myrtle, Robert, Phyllis, Ralph, Betty, Bill, and Helen all were Bonners.
Her family fondly remembers the wonderful smell of homemade bread, her wonderful cooking, very large gardens, going to the cabin which we all love and her stories of growing up on the Bonner ranch.
Funeral services were held Wednesday July 14, 2021 at 11 in the 2 ward chapel in Minersville, Utah. Viewing Wed July 14, at 9:30-10:30. Interment is in the Minersville Cemetery, Minersville, Utah, under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. www.sumortuary.com
