Called "Mattie". My G-G-Aunt. Affectionately known as one of "the Sisters" by her nieces and nephews.

Daughter of John Somers McMahen and Adelia Lavinia Stuart. Sister of William Burford McMahon. Her middle name, "Coleman", was her paternal grandmother's maiden name - Mary Coleman McMahan [Wilks].

She was a seamstress. Never married.
