Joan L. Oliver, 55, of West Howard Avenue, Coaldale, died Saturday in Coaldale. She was the wife of Joseph R. Oliver.
Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Lois (Chase) Richards.
A 1975 graduate of Panther Valley High School, she was a member of First Congregational Church, Coaldale.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Joseph D. and James R. Oliver, both of Tamaqua; two sisters, Lois Richards of Coaldale and Hilda Berezniak of Parish, Fla.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Huynh; and a brother, Norman Richards.
Service: Funeral, 11 a.m., Wednesday, Gulla Funeral Home, 130 E. Ridge St., Coaldale, with the Rev. Wayne Benack officiating. Interment, Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown.
