Obituary for James "Jim" Daniel Lowery
James "Jim" Daniel Lowery, musician of the greater Chattanooga, Tennessee area, went to be amongst the angels at the age of 37; he lost the battle against a rare cancer on 06/26/21 after over a year of being a fighter.
Jim was a lover of music and the arts in general and was talented in playing many instruments as well as holding an electrical engineering degree from Chattanooga State Technical Community College. He was a guest and member of several area bands and was featured in Chattanooga's own Riverbend Music Festival. He was known to those close to him for his generous heart and willingness to give to those in need. He began the non-profit organization The Arts Healing Hearts to utilize art and artists from all walks of life to benefit homeless people diagnosed with critical illnesses so that they do not feel without help in a time when they need it most.
He is survived by his mother, Shelia Lamb, his father, David Lowery, his brother, Keith Lowery, and two half-sisters, Natasha and Crystal.
