He was born in Winchendon on October 23, 1953, son of the late Arthur and Ann O. (Varga) Paul and was a 1971 graduate of Murdock High School. He was a lifelong resident of Winchendon.
Artie worked at Digital for over 50 years and retired as an operations manager. For the last 4 years, he had worked part-time at Wal-Mart in Rindge, NH. He was an avid fisherman and particularly enjoyed working around his home, his yard and pool. Quiet in nature, he loved to kid his family with his dry sense of humor. He loved the town of Winchendon and the wonderful people in it.
He leaves his wife of 36 years, Tammy L. (LaPointe) Paul; two children, Brandon A. Paul of Tempe, AZ and Whitney A. Paul of Gardner; a sister, Sandra Stapel of Rio Rancho, NM; several nieces, nephews and cousins, whom he loved dearly and his extended family of his adopted children, whom he called his own. A sister, Arlene L. "Pickles" Paul, preceded him in death.
Calling hours will be held Friday, May 31, 2019 from 3 to 6 P.M. followed by a service at 6 P.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon.
