He was the husband of Betty (Lloyd) Drennan . Born in Oak Park, Ill., he was a son of the late Fred and Olive (Clay) Drennan .
Mr. Drennan was the president of the Lloyd Mfg. Co., until he retired in 1980.
He was a graduate of Brown University, class of 1941, and received his master's degree in chemical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1943.
Mr. Drennan worked on the Manhattan Project in St. Louis during World War II.
He was a member of the Rhode Island Country Club, Barrington Yacht Club, US Power Squadron, and St. John's Episcopal Church, Barrington.
Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Dale D. Williams of Jamestown; a niece, and several nephews. He was the father of the late Dr. Jeffery L. Drennan .
