Mary A. Casey, of Waltham, died on Saturday, June 5, 2021 in her home with her children by her side. She was 70 years old.

Mary was born in Boston on January 9, 1951, one of eleven children born to the late Thomas J. and Edith (Wilson) Casey. A graduate of Brighton High School, she worked for many years in domestic services at the Perkins School, in transportation for JSC Transportation, and most recently as a dining manager at Springwell in Lexington.

She was an avid reader and always enjoyed a good book.

She leaves her children, Michael T. Casey (Karen) of Londonderry, New Hampshire and Michelle E. Hanley (Daniel) of Belmont; her grandson, William; her step-grandchildren, Jonathan and Emily; her brothers and sisters, Stephen Casey of Weymouth, Thomas Casey of Milton, James Casey of Moultonborough, New Hampshire, Paul Casey of Maryland, Patricia Sweeney of Weymouth, Margaret Casey of Weymouth, and JoAnne Boyle of Rochester, New Hampshire. She also leaves her best friend and traveling partner, Judy Glassman, and many nieces, nephews, and their families.

Mary was also a sister of the late Brian and Kenneth Casey and Kathleen MacDougall.

Family and friends will honor and remember Mary's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Sunday, June 13th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 11 a.m. on Monday morning when her funeral service will be held.
