Evelyn Emma Ogle, 87, of Hutchinson, died July 9, 2021, at her home. She was born December 28, 1933, on the family farm near Basil, to C.P. and Anna (Albrecht) Loewen.

Evelyn graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1951. She worked as a sales clerk at JC Penney for a short while before pausing her work career to raise her family. Evelyn then worked at 1st Church of God as secretary for many years, where she attended, led, and served from age 4-80. The heritage of this church was important to her and she served many years with children, youth, choir, administrative and women's ministries. Evelyn loved singing in various quartets with her husband. In later years they attended Union Valley Bible Church, where she loved others and was loved in return.

Evelyn was an artist, a mother, a mentor, a wonderful alto, an organizer, an advocate, a mom, a sweetheart, and will always be a daughter of the Most High God.

On October 10, 1952, she married Ronald Edwin Ogle at 1st Church of God, Hutchinson. They shared 70 years of marriage. He survives.

Also surviving are: her children, Steve (Linda) Ogle of Hutchinson, Charlcie (Glenn) Koster of South Hutchinson, Kay Cully of Valley Center, Jennifer (Barney) Fultz of Johnstown, PA; grandchildren, Jonathan (Heather) Ogle, Sara Ogle (Jason) Huff, Ryan (Bethany) Ogle, Austin (Katelyn) Ogle, Brian Koontz, Daniel (Jeannie) Koontz, Brett Cully, Grant (Krissie) Cully, Tyler Fultz, Bryce Fultz, Rylan Fultz; great-grandchildren, Annabelle and Jonah Ogle, Justus, Piercen, and Townsly Huff, Edwin Ogle, Ivy Ogle, Aiden and James Koontz, and Temperance, Kensington and Conrad Cully; and numerous extended family members.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; bonus daughter, Lou Ann Cheek Welch; siblings, Rudolph Loewen, Sadie (Loewen) Lewis, Harry Loewen (died in infancy), Peter Loewen, Charles Loewen, Anna (Loewen) Hause, and Dorothy (Loewen) Simmons.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at Union Valley Bible Church, 1916 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Union Valley Bible Church.
