Dorothy Mae Goodman, daughter of Earl H. and Willie Lee Hudgins Goodman, was born on April 18, 1925 in Clermont County, Ohio. Her family moved to Phoenix, Arizona about 1929, as her father got a supervisory position with the WPA. She met Steve Allen in Arizona, where the couple married in 1943. The couple moved to California, where had three children. They divorced in California in 1952, and Steve remarried to Jayne Meadows. Dorothy married Richard Newell Hinsvark on August 15, 1953 in Compton, California. This marriage also ended in divorce. On January 31, 1966, Dorothy married Ernest Ray Rutherford. They divorced in August of 1967. Dorothy died on March 13, 1988 in Los Angeles County, California. Her remains were cremated.
