Ricky J. Weaver, age 65, of Shelburn, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. He was born in Sullivan, IN on May 8, 1956, the son of Robert & Joan (Phillips) Weaver.

He was a graduate of North Central High School. He worked as an EMT/Paramedic for Greene County, Sullivan County and Carlisle. He was also on the Hymera Volunteer Fire Department and was a Deputy Coroner in Sullivan County. He was a member of the American Legion Post 172 in Jasonville, Hymera Masonic Lodge F&AM #588, as well as the Greene County Shrine Club. He enjoyed playing cards and gambling but loved spending time with his family.

Ricky is survived by his loving children, Ricky J. (Joy) Weaver II of Linton and Whitnea (Alex) Keller of Linton; grandchildren, Dalton Joe Weaver, Haylee Marie Weaver, Jaycea May Keller, Holdyn Keller and Axel Keller; brother, Robert Weaver; sister, Carol Lacey; several nieces and nephews and his beloved cat, Oreo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Harold Weaver, Carl Weaver, Rhonda Little and Barbara Jo Weaver.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm and on Wednesday from 12:00 Noon until the time of service.
