Debbie S. Harper, 57, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday in a Chattanooga health care facility.

Debbie was born in Lindsborg, Kansas and was preceded in death by her father, C. M. Elliott. Debbie earned 2 master degrees in Art Therapy from Wright State in Ohio. She worked in the Mental Health Field most of her life. She served as a counselor with Pine Ridge Treatment Center, Hiwassee Mental Health and Moccasin Bend. Debbie was an amazing artist! She would use Art therapy to help people as well as pets. She was a member of the Mt. Olive Church of God.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Philip Harper of Cleveland, her mother Frances L (Menefee) Elliott, her children, Rin Coulfield, Mark Anthony Harper (Mary Ann), Philip Harper Jr. and Dorina Lynn Harper, 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sister, Barbara Warne (Joe), brother, Bruce Elliott (Allan), mother in law, Valdese Peacock, sisters in law, Myrtle Ruth Davidson and Sharon Peacock and nieces and nephews.

The Remembrance of Life Graveside Service and Interment will be conducted on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 4 P. M. at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Pastor Gary Sears officiating. Family and friends will serve as casket bearers.
