Mary Ann Therese Staples (nee Titei), age 77, born into eternal life on July 6, 2021.
Beloved wife of Eugene Francis Staples, Jr.; loving mother of Todd Kenneth Staples, Melissa Archene Staples (Melissa Ryan), and Marcus Ronald Staples (Eric Siedschlag); proud grandmother of Drue Tomas Staples; dear sister of late Steven Andrew "Ron" (Sheila) Titei.

Alumna of Lowell H.S. where she received the honor of Best Thespian in 1963. She had a passion for theatre and participated in local theatre for nearly 25 years. She had a huge heart for animals and cared for many throughout her life and also served on the Cedar Lake Fire Department Auxiliary for 16 years. Mary Ann loved spending time with her best friend Bernadette Kocan (nee Grzych) sharing a cherished friendship for over 66 years.

Friends and family will gather Saturday, July 10th, from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. at Burdan Funeral Home, 12901 Wicker Ave, Cedar Lake, IN. Interment to follow at German Methodist Cemetery in Cedar Lake.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made in Mary Ann's memory may be made to Treasured Friends Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 9234, Highland, IN 46322.
