Joe Danny Gossett (JD) was born on Nov 17 1959 and passed away Friday, Nov 20, 2020. He was a native of Roebuck SC and a Fence Forman for 45 yrs. He was the son of James Earl Gossett Sr and Doris Roberson Gossett. JD is survived by his only daughter, Brandy Blake (David Blake), granddaughter Avery Piper Blake, two sisters Rhonda Moody and Rita Talent (Dan Talent), including many nieces and nephews, and his ex-wife and best friend Sherri Cantrell.
Even as a young boy, JD never met a stranger. He made friends everywhere he went and maintained so many of those friendships for life. He brought life into every room he entered. JD wore his heart on his sleeve. When he loved you, you knew it and he would truly do anything for his loved ones. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends while listening to music in his game room. He also loved his home in the county and was an avid animal lover.
To know JD was to love him. He will forever be missed by those left behind but they take comfort in knowing that he is resting in peace.
Service arrangements will be decided at a later date.
