Helen V. Doyle, 81, of Stanford, died Wednesday, March 14, at her residence.
A native of Harlan Co., she was born Oct. 11, 1919 to the late Joseph Noah Adkins and Lou Vina Halcomb Adkins. She was a homemaker, member of Waynesburg Church of God of Prophecy, and widow of Earl Dishon and Lester Doyle.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and George Adkins and one sister, Mary Lou Adkins.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth (Ruth) Dishon of Stanford; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 17 at the Fox Funeral Home with Bro. John Silvers officiating. Burial was in the Double Springs Cemetery in Waynesburg.
