Services for Bettie J. Holdren-Roger, 76, of Henderson, Nev, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 27, 1999, at Christ the -Servant Lutheran Church in Las Vegas.

Mrs. Holdren-Rogers was born Dec. 3, 1922, in Phoenix, Ariz. She resided in Lompoc from 1962 until 1995 when she moved to Nevada. She was an avid crafter, painter and cake decorator. She was a member of 272 and 292 of the Ladies Auxiliary Fleet Reserve Association, Half Century 'Club and Del Norte Pinochle Club. She died Friday, July 23, 1999, at her home. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Rogers; sons, Ellis Holdren Jr. and Russell Holdren, both of Nevada; daughters, Neva Georgion of Peabody, Mass., Lydia O'Neill of Long Beach, and Lisa Anderson of Lompoc; brothers, Skeet and Fred Smith, both of Arizona; and 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ellis Holdren Sr., in 1989; a sister and three bothers. Contributions may be made to Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, 2 South Pecos, Las Vegas, Nev. Viewing will be from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Arrangements are being handled by Palm Mortuary in Las Vegas.
