Richard "Dick" Tucker, 77, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021. He was born July 15, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Harold Tucker and Hazel "Pat" (Alexander) Pugh. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran. Retired from Abbott Labs with 15 years of service. He loved sports and was an avid Buckeyes, Browns, Blue Jackets, and Tribe fan. He was also an avid Disney fan who loved to frequent the parks. Longtime member of New Life Baptist Church, Grove City. Dick is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary "Carol" Tucker; sons, Rich (Deanna) Tucker and Ron (Dennis) Tucker; grandchildren, Michael Tucker, Morgan Tucker, Zac Caldwell, and Emily Caldwell; special nephew, Jeff (Andrea) Shaner; siblings, Harold (Julie) Tucker, Carl (Margaret) Tucker, Mary Lou (Bill) Leroux, and Vicki (Walt Newcomb) Papp; numerous nieces and nephews; beloved dog, Tucker; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday. Interment will follow at Grove City Cemetery (West). In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to New Life Baptist Church, 3989 Neff Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123.
