Born April 3, 1930 in Guin, AL, he is the son of the late Bonnie Frank and Ida Wood Mullins. He had lived in Guin all of his life. First and foremost Bob was a christian and served the Lord and his church, Guin First Baptist Church, his entire life. He was also a member of the Guin Fire Department, had served in the Guin City Council and at the time of his death was a member of the Guin Industrial Board. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the US Army attached to the 1st Marine Division.
Bob was the first person to be hired by the 3M Company from Guin. He helped to build the original plant in Guin. Bob's son Andy was the first 3M baby born in 1955.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bonnie Frank and Ida Wood Mullins, a Sister, Sara Mullins Pennington and his first wife and mother of his children, Doris Jean May Mullins.
Services held Monday, July 12, 2021 at 3:00 pm from the Guin First Baptist Church with burial in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens. Bro Scott Stokes and Bro. Kenny Hatcher officiating.
