Life Reflections for Michelle White….

Michelle D. White was born July 27th, 1961, to the late Doris Dillard and Henry Dillard, of Norfolk Virginia. She is also predeceased by her grandmother the Late Helen Foreman. On Wednesday, June 30th, 2021, our loved one departed this life at Braywood Manor Apartments, in Norfolk, Va. Where she resided. Ms. Michelle White was a loving mother, grandmother, and soon-to-be great grandmother. She loved to cook, clean, have fun, and spend time with her family. Michelle stayed busy raising two boys, she always kept them involved in sports and you could find her on the sideline at every game cheering them on. That tradition continued with her grandson's. Whenever they had a game or school event Michelle was right by their side, ready to tell everybody that those boys were hers. Her favorite line was "That's me right there, that's my grandson. If you knew "Chelle" then you know that she loved to get dressed up and she had to have her hair done. She wanted to look good everywhere she went. Early in life she worked as a Cafeteria Worker and a Custodian for Norfolk Public Schools, she volunteered at The Jewish Temple on Granby St in Norfolk Va., where she helped serve food. She also volunteered at The New Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church food bank passing out food to families in need. Michelle leaves to cherish Her memory, two sons, Dorcel Dillard and Christopher White who she loved dearly, two grandsons Dortraeius (Trae) Tatem and Ameris Kamara who meant the world to her. Michelle was so excited because she was expecting her first great grandson who is due on November 1st. Michelle also leaves to cherish her memory, her father Henry Dillard "Doolum", four sisters Ebony Scoby, Valerie Scoby, Amenta Scoby, and Crystal Scoby all of Norfolk VA., and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. Michelle had three special friends that she called her girls Dana, Sheryl, and Bonnie were always by her side.
