E. Alden Akerly, 51, died Saturday in Spokane. His home was at N5724 Sutherlin. Mr. Akerly , had lived in Spokane nearly all his life, although he was born in Oakland, Calif. He was a sales supervisor for the Pickett.MacCallum Co.
Mr. Akerly was a member of the Episcopal church, the BPOE and the BOF.
He is survived by his wife Katherine and daughter, Marilee at the home, and another daughter, Mrs. Kay Harkins, Seattle; a sister, Mrs. Catharine Franklin, Spokane; a brother, Thomas, Portland., and a grandson. .
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Riplinger Funeral Home, with the Rev. A. A. Franklin officiating.
Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the heart or cancer fund.
