Karen Jean Wood, 69, of Blanchard, died Thursday, July 8, 2021, in Norman. The daughter of Roy Lee Wood and Jewell Regina (Isom) Wood, she was born March 21, 1952, in Chickasha.

Karen worked as a beautician for forty-six years and was a member of the New Home Full Gospel Church in Dibble. She was a faithful volunteer at the Tri-City Hope Center. In her spare time, she enjoyed feeding the birds and had a green thumb when it came to gardening. She loved animals, especially cats and dogs and taking care of her pets brought her great joy. Karen's greatest joy was being with her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Braden Bush.

Karen is survived by her one daughter, Tiffany Bush, of Blanchard; four grandchildren, whom she dearly loved and adored, Bre-Ann Bush of Blanchard, Bethany Bush of Blanchard, Stephen Davis and his wife, Miriah, of Pennsylvania, Marqueal Bush and his wife, Aubrea, of Guthrie; six great grandchildren, Braden Bush, Jr., Kameron Davis, Trinity Bush, Triston Bush, Mikka Bush, and Krai Hacker; one brother, Roy Lynn Wood; son-in-law, Ara "Rumpy" Bush of Blanchard; and many other loved ones and friends.
Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
