George served in the United States Army and retired after working 20 years in maintenance at the College of the Ouachitas (ASU Three Rivers). He was a jack of all trades. George enjoyed helping others, riding his motorcycle, doing yard work, and loved his fur babies. George was proud of his heritage as a member of the Choctaw Nation.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Justin Lee.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Michele Guin Welch; daughters, Rushelle Welch (Shannon) of Malvern, Jennifer Paul (Steve) of Malvern and Morgan Huggins (Bradley) of Hot Springs; sister, Febrena Welch of Oklahoma; brother-in-law, Curtis Guin of Glen Rose; grandchildren, Logan, Ramsey, Finley, Kayden, Sean, and Harris; very special aunt, Peachie (Theresa Robinson) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
