Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas A. McCusker and Ruth F. Wallace; and her brothers, Brian and Sean McCusker.
Mrs. Evans is survived by her siblings, Eileen Carpentier (Robert), Karen Calvin, Mary Thames (Mark) and Colleen Kirk (Ric); her sisters-in-law, Jean McCusker and Shirley McCusker; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mrs. Evans was a native and long-time resident of Gulfport. She earned her Associates Degree in nursing and retired from nursing. She loved New Orleans Saints football, hand embroidery and crafts.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to St. Joseph Hospice. The team at St. Joseph was exceptional with their compassionate and loving care.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or one's favorite charity.
