Paula F. Goode of Grove City passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021. Paula was born in San Antonio, Texas to the late Paolo and Luz S. Fuentes. While living in San Antonio, she met and married her husband of 67 years David E. Goode. Paula and David then moved to Columbus. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Agnes Catholic Church and later Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, especially Spanish rice and beans, baking peach and apple pies, and sewing everything from quilts to Barbie-doll outfits on her trusty Singer sewing machine. She adopted Ohio but was always a true Texan at heart. Most of all she loved her family, she was a proud wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her husband, Paula is also survived by her children Jerry (Pat) Tejeda, Teresa Steece, and Mikel Goode; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Paula is also preceded in death by her children Henry Tejeda and Yolanda Evans. Paula's family will receive friends 4-7 PM Monday at Schoedinger Grove City 3920 Broadway. A Rosary Service will be held at 6:45 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 3730 Broadway. Rev. Fr. Michael Watson, celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
