Shirley was born January 17, 1927, in Atlanta, IL., the daughter of Thadeus and Leta (Brunner) Brandt.
She married Willis Douglas on November 6, 1947. He preceded her in death in 2008.
She was formerly employed at a mental health technician at Lincoln Developmental Center. She was a member of Full Gospel Evangelistic Center. Shirley loved the Lord. She enjoyed church services and singing hymns. She loved Bingo and played as often as she could.
Survivors include her son, Willis Larry Douglas (Shirley); granddaughters, Tami Sprague (Chris) and Tori Cox and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers, Dean Brandt and Donald Brandt and sister, Irene Brandt.
