Paul E. Harvey, 59, Route 4, Greencastle, died early Wednesday morning at the emergency room of Putnam County Hospital.
Born April 25, 1925, at Danville, Ill., he was the son of Sanford and Hazel (Bostwich) Harvey.
The deceased married Wanda Alexander on April 10, 1948, and she survives.
For the past eight years, Mr. Harvey was employed as a truck driver for the Putnam County Highway Department. Previously, he worked as a loader at Lone Star Indutries for 10 years.
He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a past member of the American Legion, Cloverdale.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three daughters, Mrs. Steven (Barbara) Clark and Mrs. Raymond (Brenda) Capps, both of Greencastle, and Mrs. Frank (Beverly) O'Conner, Reelsville; a son, Paul E. Harvey Jr., Greencastle; a brother, Earl Harvey, Greencastle; a sister, Mrs. Jame (Anita) Keller, Clayton; a step mother, Agnes Harvey, Rockville; 10 grandchildren, aunts uncles, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Harvey was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery with full military rites.
