Raymond Isaac Ford, III, died January 19, 2021. Born to the late Raymond Ford, Jr. and Amelia (DeAngelis) Ford, he is also predeceased by his former spouse, Donna (Petersen) Ford.
Ray grew up in Southeast Baltimore City and graduated from Archbishop Curley High School in 1977. Ray graduated from UMBC where he was an All-American soccer player and still holds the record for most goals scored with 51 goals and 124 points. He was inducted into the Maryland Soccer Hall of Fame in 2016.
After earning a BA from UMBC, Ray was a Project Manager with Worthington Steel for many years.
Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Dagsboro, DE.
