HOUSTON - Jamie Randal "Randy" Adams, Sr., 72, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo . He was born on June 22, 1949 to Jamie Mullens Adams and Naomi Elizabeth Davis Adams. He served his country as a sergeant in U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. Randy was a talented carpenter, working in construction most of his life.
He is survived by his grandsons, James Dylan Adams and Justin Adams of Houston; his brothers Roger Adams (Brenda) of Woodland and Rex Adams (Diane) of Dallas, TX; his sister, Linda Westmoreland of Starkville; his stepson Todd McGraw, his step grandsons Jared and Josh McGraw, and a step-great grandson Nathaniel McGraw, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jamie Mullens Adams and Naomi Davis Doss; his wife Mary Lou Adams; his son, Jamie Randal Adams, Jr., his stepson Paul McGraw, his brother, Gaylon Doyle; and his sister Nancy LaNa Adams Boone.
There will be a private family graveside service on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Arbor Grove Cemetery with Brother Scott Samuell officiating.
