Parents: William Newton Davis Jr. and Phyllis Jean Lampe.

On December 22nd, 1992, he married Kathryn Ann Wade in Logumkloster, Denmark. Steve was the hardest working man you'd ever meet. He never shied away from any kind of work or to help someone out. All you had to do was ask and he'd give you the shirt off his back. To most he was known as Steve, to others he was known as Stevie D, but to most all the people that had the chance to meet and know him he was a friend, helping hand, and above all else someone you could count on.

Steve followed the Lutheran faith, he worked farm and ranch most of his adolescence. He joined the army at 21 years of age where he served as a combat engineer for 16 years. Steve would then go on to drive trucks for multiple companies in the Colorado Springs area including Pepsi, Scotts, Schramek, Rocky Mountain Materials, and finally at Martin Marietta. In the words of those who lived and worked with him he was "the man to know" in most situations.

He is survived by his 3 children, his grandchildren, his brother and two nephews.
