Born and raised in Waycross, Kara was a member of First Baptist Church and the 1982 Waycross High School graduating class. She lived in McDonough, Georgia for several years before moving back to Waycross in February.
Retired from restaurant management, Kara loved traveling, kayaking, her three dogs and one cat, Dorkie, Damon, Snoopy and Kiki.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin C. Williams and Glenda Rogers Williams, and her sister, Lori W. Davis.
Kara is survived by her sister, Dawn E. Williams of Waycross, her significant other, Rita Casey of McDonough, Georgia, one niece, Skyela W. Yaun and her husband Skylar of Waycross, her great niece, Avah E. Landaverde, her great nephew, Malachi L. Yaun, her aunt, Jane Crawley of Waycross, two uncles, James H. Rogers, Jr., and his wife Kathy, Gene Williams and his wife Pat and numerous other relatives.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 3-5 p.m., at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home.
