He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Elaine, who he met while teaching at Mount Morris High School in Michigan; his children Philip (Marleen) of Toronto and Elizabeth (Andy) of Omaha, grandchildren Sam, Gwendolyn, Thomas, Patrick and countless extended family and friends. Phil had a strong faith as a lifelong Episcopalian and enjoyed serving in the choir at St. John's Episcopal Church in Worthington for over fifty years. He was a lover of music, sports and conversation. We will miss his humor and grace. The world has lost a true gentleman.
