Philip M Clark, 91, passed away at home on June 21, 2021. He was born on August 28,1929 in Washington DC to Philip M and Pearl H Clark. He graduated from Harvard University and then served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He received a PhD from the University of Michigan in psychology and proceeded to teach psychology at Ohio State University from 1963 until well past his retirement in 1996.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Elaine, who he met while teaching at Mount Morris High School in Michigan; his children Philip (Marleen) of Toronto and Elizabeth (Andy) of Omaha, grandchildren Sam, Gwendolyn, Thomas, Patrick and countless extended family and friends. Phil had a strong faith as a lifelong Episcopalian and enjoyed serving in the choir at St. John's Episcopal Church in Worthington for over fifty years. He was a lover of music, sports and conversation. We will miss his humor and grace. The world has lost a true gentleman.
