Mary Lou Locklear-Jacobs, 86, of Lumberton, passed away on July 4, 2021.
She was born on February 1, 1935.
Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Mattie L. Cummings; her father, Luther Locklear; her husband, Elbert Jacobs; a daughter, Audrey J. Jacobs; six brothers: Grady Locklear, Willie Frank Locklear, James Earl Locklear, Roy Hilton Locklear, Luther Locklear Jr., and Percell Locklear; and two sisters, Annie Ruth Thomas and Clara Mae Locklear.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela Jacobs; a son, Randy E. Jacobs; four grandchildren: Natasha R. Jacobs, Ethan C. Jacobs, Mary Margaret Jacobs, and Donnie C. Jacobs; six great-grandchildren: Candice, Cheyene, Hayleigh, Garrison C., and Harper Jane; four great great-grandchildren: Kaeden, Kensley, Kenston, and Zaydon; a brother, David Lee Locklear of Maryland; a sister, Betty Lois Locklear Hayes of Lumberton; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.
