Larry Paul Morris Sr. of Savannah, Georgia transitioned on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 11:25 p.m. at Candler Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Larry grew up attending Saint Anthony Catholic Church where he accepted the Lord as his Lord and Savior at the age of five. Upon accepting the Lord, he received his education from Saint Anthony Catholic Church school. He later attended Windsor Forest high school and graduated in 1978, in Savannah Georgia. Larry also served in the United States Navy from May 4, 1981 to September 13, 1986. After returning to Savannah, Larry began his careers at Savannah Technical College, Housing Authority, and Chatham County Sheriffs office for 19 years. While at C.C.S.O he received numerous awards and promotions.

Larry was preceded in death by his father Mr. Emmerson M. Morris Sr. and his mother Mrs. Claudine Young Morris; his brother, Emmerson M. Morris Jr.; his sisters, Geraldine Gardner, Barbara Morris, Margaret Ann Morris, and Patricia Morris.

Larry was united in holy matrimony to his baby, as he often called her, Tiffany Irvin Morris on March 20,2007. He leaves to cherish his memories and legacy for a lifetime; his wife Mrs. Tiffany Morris; his son, Larry P. Morris Jr.; his daughters, Ashley P. Morris and Ciara N. Lee.; his granddaughters, Savannah and Ha'nnavas Morris; his godchildren, Mrs.Tara E.Smith, and his heart and his stank boy, Kaleb E. Smiley and Bernita N. Green; one brother, James Holiday (Audrey); two sisters, Gloria Jean Morris and Betty Brown; two adopted sisters, Veronica Campbell and Cherly Eady; two adopted sons, Chaisson Gideon and Christopher Poythress; mother-in-law, Mrs.Gloria Jacobs; sister in laws, Madina (Tony) Williams, Myea Irvin, and Sheryl Morris; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends.

The family will be receiving friends Friday July 9, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA 31406. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church, 112 Fell Street, Savannah, GA 31415 with Father Robert Eugene Chaney officiating.
