Montgomery, Sarah Beverly, born September 6, 1931, a native of Montgomery, Alabama, died peacefully, following extended illnesses, on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at her home in Montgomery A private cremation was performed. A graveside interment service at Greenwood Cemetery will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 2, 2021. Beverly was predeceased by her parents, C. R. Ballard & Sammye Powell Ballard; and by her two brothers, Charles Ray Ballard and Marion Ballard. She was educated in Montgomery public schools and acquired a college master's degree in music Beverly worked for a number of years as a bookkeeper in a family-owned local business. She is survived by a cousin, Dixie Crooks (Barry), of Montgomery, Alabama. Warmest thanks and gratitude are extended to longtime loyal and faithful caregiver, Gloria J. Sankey; and as well to additional recent caregivers Angelique Sankey Childrey, Carla McCollum, Lena Williams, and Diane Thomas.
