Mrs. W.K. Knight Dies in St. Louis.

Mrs. Bethany Carolyn Knight, wife of the late William Thomas Knight, died at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, in St. Louis, Mo., where she had made her home for the past few years. She was 76.
Mrs. Knight was born in Oxford, Miss., and lived in Hardeman County for thirty years. She lived in Memphis before moving to St. Louis. She was a member of the Middleburg Baptist Church.
She leaves five daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Chappell, St. Louis, Mrs. Tom Reid, Garbor, Okla., Mrs. Esther Watson of Texas, Mrs. George Kenyon of St. Louis, and Miss Pauline Knight of St. Louis; four sons, Von T. Knight, Willie Knight, Paul Knight and Frank Knight, all of Bolivar; two brothers, Ezra Rikard of Sardis, Miss., and Ezekiel Rikard of Olive Branch, Miss.; three sisters, Mrs. Marsh Buchanan of Oxford, Miss., Mrs. Hurley Miz, Oxford, Miss., and Miss Elizabeth Rikard of Olive Branch, Miss.; 20 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren..
Funeral services were held at Walnut Grove Baptist Church Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock with Rev. Walter Bryant officiating. Burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge.
