Richard Louis Griffin passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2021 in Orlando,FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert H. and Mary B. Griffin, and one brother Roy B. Griffin.

He is survived by his children, Scott W. Griffin (Genea), Bobby L. Griffin and William B. Griffin, his sister Patricia L. Griffin, Destiny Shannon, his grandchildren Daisy Griffin, Austin Shaffer, Christal Griffin, Rhiannon Griffin, Candi Kay Griffin and Kaleb Griffin and 3 great-grandchildren and his cousins, Don Emerson, Jim Griffin (Paula), Ken Griffin and Bill Griffin (Vicki) and also survived by Richard was born in Tulsa,OK and was a longtime resident of Orlando,FL.

He graduated from East Mecklenburg High School and Piedmont Community College. He worked for over 20 years with Superfoods Warehouse, and also 20 years for Tarmac Concrete as a Truck driver. He took first place in the 1999 Central Florida Regional Truck Driving Rodeo.

He enjoyed sitting on the porch of the family cabin in Oklahoma, Harley Davidson's, Martial Arts, Camping, fishing and watching Western and Sci Fi movies. He was a very generous man, had a smart wit and loved a good joke. Richard was a lifetime member of the NRA and was a marksman.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Graveside Service on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 2:00 pm in Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport, MS.
