CAROL ANN HALL
Carol Ann Schaeffer Hall, age 75, went to be with our Lord on June 13, 2021.
She was born September 21, 1945, in York PA to Catherine and Raymond Schaeffer. The Schaeffer family moved to Pottsville, PA where Carol grew up. She graduated from Pottsville High School. She was recruited by the National Labor Relations Board and then moved to Washington, DC. After that, Carol went to work with the US Treasury Department where she met the Love of her life, A Marine assigned to the HMX-1 (Presidential Helicopters). Carol and Corporal Bernard Hall were married at the US Naval Air Station Chapel on September 25, 1965. Eleven months later, Carol gave birth to Timothy John Hall at Georgetown Hospital. The family became strong and prospered.
The hall family lived in Falls Church, VA, West Chester, PA, and finally landed in Panama City, FL. Carol was Catholic by faith, and was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Panama City, FL.
Carol passed away at home with the assistance of Covenant Care and her immediate family. Carol is survived by her husband, Bernard Hall of Lynn Haven, FL, son, Timothy Hall of Crestview, FL, sister, Kathleen and husband Paul and daughter Paula Bercher of Garland, TX, brother Robert and wife Cindy Schaeffer of Cressona, PA, daughters Kendra and husband Travis Reich and Rachel and Eric Stoudt of Reading, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews. Carol is preceded in death by her parents Catherine and Raymond Schaeffer and brother Frederick William Schaeffer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, June 18, 2021, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church with Fr. William Brown and Fr. Anthony Nguyen officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Kent-Forest Lawn funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM with Rosary service at 7:00. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Covenant Care in the name of Carol Ann Hall.
