Donald Jerry Quinton was born February 25, 1936 in Pine Valley, Oklahoma ( a small logging town owned by Dierks Lumber Company). He died at home in Buckville, Arkansas on May 4, 1944 of an accidental gunshot wound. The former location of the town of Buckville, is now covered by Lake Ouachita which was formed when a dam was constructed.
