Sally was born January 27, 1937 in Corning, NY. She is the daughter of Thomas and Irene (Kittner) Woodhouse. She married John Thompson on April 28, 1955 at St. Patrick's Church in Corning.
She was a homemaker for most of her life whether it be at the Caton home for many years or while at their cottage on the lake. Sally always enjoyed preparing meals (and desserts) for family and friends. She loved making Christmas cookies, in fact she held an annual 'cookie baking party' to include her granddaughters, April and Amy, of which they still have very fond memories (along with Sally double water-skiing with them). Sally had a love for Sundaes on Sunday and everyone always obliged. During any spare time she would craft 'Sally Blankets' for everyone, and she loved puzzles and reading.
Sally is survived by her husband, John Thompson; sons: Gary (Renee) Thompson, John (Luann West) Thompson and Russell Thompson; grandchildren: April, Amy and Anthony Thompson; great grandchildren: Kaili (Graydon) Locey, Kristi Allen, Aubrey and Avery; great great grandchildren: Ryder Landon and Greer Locey; brothers: Charles (Jean) Woodhouse, Peter (Joan) Woodhouse and Richard (Danny) Woodhouse; sister, Shirley Ross; sisters-in-law, Gloria Clark and JoAnn Thompson; and special friends at The Village Manor.
She was predeceased by her siblings: Thomas Woodhouse, Mary Speciale, Betty Bliss, Marjorie Lovell, and James Woodhouse.
