Jean Agnes Mink Harris, age 80 of Cherryville passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021, at her residence. She was born April 24, 1941, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Elmer and Elva (Elliott) Mink. Jean was a member of Highland Drive Freewill Baptist Church in Lincolnton, NC and was previously a member of Open Bible Baptist Church in Williamstown, NJ. She was a devoted prayer warrior. Jean spent time reading her Bible and was involved with The Card Ministry, choir, Senior Saints, and church visitation team. She also enjoyed gardening, reading, walking, and caring for homeless pets.

Survivors include her children, Lori A. Wrenn and husband, Scott, John A. Harris and wife, Ruth (Kolb), Deborah J. Decker and husband, John, and Julie A. Alger and husband, Ray; siblings, George Mink and wife, Cathy, and Ruth Mink Rowe and husband, Rev. Ron Rowe, Sr.; four grandchildren and their spouses; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 8, 2021, at 4:00 PM at Highland Drive Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Luke Johnson and Pastor Cole Sours officiating. Burial will follow at City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 3:00 to 3:45 PM prior to the service at the church.
