Greg Evans, formerly of Alliance, Ohio, passed away Wednesday May 8, 2019 in Ashland, Ohio. Born on September 27, 1949, he was the son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Smith) Evans. Greg was a lover all sports during his time at Alliance High School but he particularly enjoyed football. He lived his entire life in northeastern Ohio and couldn't understand why anyone wanted to live anywhere else! His love for THE Ohio State Buckeyes was never in doubt to those who knew him. Over his lifetime, he spent many afternoons and evenings in the fall watching games inside the Shoe.

He is survived by brothers Frank and Tommy Evans, his four children: Rob (Nicki), Renee (Jack) Fields, Scott (Cathy) and Casey (Brandon) Craver, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grand daughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Donna Evans and Dolly Evans, and his brother Jim Evans.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association. Memorial Services are pending at this time.
