Funeral services for Maria Fe Mendez, 73, of Sugar Land, Texas, will be held Friday, July 9, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 705 St. Theresa Blvd in Sugar Land, Texas. Graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Guadalupe Cemetery in Rosenberg, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 8, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hernandez Funeral Home, 800 Fourth Street in Rosenberg. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.
Ms. Mendez was born April 28, 1948 in Morelia, Mexico and she passed away July 2, 2021, in Sugar Land, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jose Juan Mendez; her sons, Pedro Leon and Francisco Antonio Mendez.
She is survived by her sons, Jose Luis Mendez and wife, Cristy, Ernesto Jose Mendez and wife, Maria, Francisco Antonio Mendez and wife, Carmen; her daughters, Yolanda Maria Enriquez and husband, Roy, Maricela Ayoub and husband, Chris, Trina Marie Mendez; her brothers, Laurentino and Fernando Plancarte; her sisters, Carmen Munoz and Antonia Plancarte; along with 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; as well as other loving family members and friends.
"We are limited to (60) number of guests at time of service, we do request that everyone in attendance continue to practice social distances and masks are required at all times. Children are required to be seated with parents at all times."
