She was born on September 1, 1975, in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of Gary and Joann (Reynolds) Holycross.
Amy graduated from Georgetown High School, Georgetown, IL.
She had worked as a manager in several restaurants.
Amy was a member of Faith Church in Fairmount, IL.
She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Halladay, and son, Austin (Justice) Reynolds; father, Gary (Pam) Holycross; mother, JoAnn Reynolds; sister, Lisa (Matt) Moudy; brother, Gary Alan (Maegan) Holycross; step-brother, Donnie Davis; step-sister, Tonia (Travis) Shelton; grandchildren, Jacob Halladay, Jazmine Halladay, Kurtis Purnell, and Oaklee Sorrell; and several nieces and nephews.
Amy was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Sorrell; daughter, Emily Moudy; granddaughter, Bella Halladay; grandparents, Frank and Charlotte Reynolds and Dale and Florence Holycross.
Cremation was chosen and there will be no visitation or services.
