July 3, 2021 - Mary Katherine Stevenson, age 92 of Lexington, passed from this Earth, peacefully at her home on Saturday, July 3, 2021. Mary was born September 15, 1929, the first born child of Cecil and Miletus [Young] Little.
Mary was born and raised in Konawa, Oklahoma and graduated with the Tiger Class of 1947. On December 12, 1948, she married Quinn Hill and raised 2 sons in Konawa, Barry Lee Hill and Randy Lynn Hill. Mary attended the Draughon School of Business earning her Secretary of Science Diploma. After her boys were raised, she began secretarial work in Oklahoma City. After 32 years of marriage, Quinn passed on May 5, 1981.
Mary and Dale Stevenson were united in marriage on March 5, 1982 in Illinois. They later moved to Del City where she began her career with Dean McGee Eye Institute. After 25 years with Dean McGee, Mary retired, taking care of Dale the rest of her days, traveling across the United States and Canada with him. Mary and Dale loved their dogs, always having at least one dog with them in their home. Mary was an avid walker, always staying fit and healthy by walking the neighborhoods where her and Dale lived. They were married for 35 years and lived in Konawa, Ok., Albion, Nb., Del City and Moore, Ok. Mary loved Dale and was by his side when he passed on June 28, 2017.
Mary is survived by her daughter-in-law Stacey Hill of the home; Grandson Brett and Stevy Hill of Konawa, OK and their 3 children: Jaxon, Cade and Sophie; sister Karen Queen of Illinois; 7 step-children and numerous step-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents Cecil and Miletus Little; sons Barry and Randy Hill; husbands Quinn Hill and Dale Stevenson; brothers Morrison "Bud" Little, Roland Little, Loren Little and August "Butch" Miller.
Pallbearers will be Brett Hill, Jaxon Hill, Cade Hill, Mickey Johnson, Luis Correl and Michael Charette.
