She was born April 13, 1948, in Chicago, to Helen Tapley and Ernest Rankin.
She was a member of Abundant Faith Christian Center.
Francine leaves to hold her memories: daughter, Tara Tapley of Indianapolis; three sons, Mike and Anthony Tapley and Chris Walker, all of Springfield; two sisters, Christine Nowell and Constance McGee, both of Chicago; a brother, Mike Wood of Chicago; six granddaughters; three grandsons; a great-grandson; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will cherish her memory.
Memorial services will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at Abundant Faith Christian Center with Pastor Elder Walton officiating.
