Funeral service celebrating the life of Johnny Lee Sims of Downsville, LA will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, July 8, 2021 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe.
Interment will follow at Serenity Gardens, West Monroe, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends for visitation, 5:00pm until 7:00pm, Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at the funeral home.
Johnny was born July 3, 1978 and passed from this life July 3, 2021 at the age of 43.
Johnny was a dedicated father and was a hard worker, always working to provide for his family, he loved a good laugh with friends and family and loved the San Francisco 49ers and his animals, he enjoyed his movies, shows, and video games. His pride and joy was his daughter, Lillian Sims.
He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Ray Sims; grandparents, Jeff Crumpton and Vivian Cain; aunts and uncles, Donnie Crumpton, Judy Crumpton, Willie Crumpton, and Joan Crain.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, JoAnn Sims; wife, Michelle sims; daughter, Lillian Sims; siblings, Travis Sims, Shane sims and wife LeeAnn, Tony Reynolds, Lisa Alford, and Randy Reynolds; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
