Robert E. Devlin Jr., 72, of Somerville, died Aug. 3, 2014, at The Neville Center in Cambridge after a period of declining health. Born in Quincy, he was the son of Janet Devlin and the late Robert Devlin. Robert graduated from Thayer Academy in Braintree and worked at General Dynamics in Quincy. He was a holistic healthcare advocate and an enthusiastic outdoorsman. Rob is survived by his wife Anne and three children , and by his siblings William Devlin of Vt., and Katherine Casey and Joel Devlin of Mass., and their families.
