East Palestine-

Richard Paul George, Jr., 60, passed away July 3, 2021 at the Salem Regional Medical Center.

Richard was born April 15, 1961 in Salem, OH, son of the late Richard Paul George, Sr. and Phyliss (Leffel) George.

He was a lifelong resident of the area, having resided in New Springfield, New Waterford and East Palestine. Richard was a 1978 graduate of Springfield Local High School. He worked for 35 years at Georges Party Pack, a family business. He was a member of the New Waterford Eagles #2415 since 1986.

Richard is survived by his sister, Cheryl (Jay) Townsend of East Palestine; a brother, Greg (B.J. Cope) George of New Waterford and two nephews, Jim and Bob Seabrook.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. A private interment will take place at Mt. Zion Cemetery at a later date. No other services will be observed.

The family wishes to thank the East Palestine Police Department and EMT's as well as the Salem Regional Medical Center and Community Hospice for the care they have all shown to their brother.
